我要因他...(arppegiation)...背起十架

The act of taking up your cross demonstrates your willingness to suffer and even die for His sake.

The act of taking up your cross implies your readiness for the victimhood of scorning and mockery.

The act of taking up your cross en route to the place of execution shows your submission to the authority against which you had previously rebelled.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing."
2 Tim 4:7-8

"But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me."
1 Cor 15:10

Thanks GCMC, for the wonderful opportunity.

And as usual, we get the joy, God gets the glory.

Pray my child, pray...

Teach ___________, O LORD, the way of Your statutes,
And he/she shall observe it to the end.
Give ___________ understanding, that he/she may observe Your law
And keep it with all his/her heart.
Make ___________ walk in the path of Your commandments,
For he/she delights in it.
Incline ___________’s heart to Your testimonies
And not to dishonest gain.
Turn away ___________’s eyes from looking at vanity,
And revive him/her in Your ways.
Establish Your word to Your servant,
As that which produces reverence for You.
Turn away their reproach which they dread,
For Your ordinances are good.
Behold, ___________ longs for Your precepts;
Revive him/her through Your righteousness.

Adapted from Psalm 119:33-40 (NASB)

When we start to sway,
driven off path by life's big waves.
remember my child,
to pray, to pray.

Pray for someone today.
