Molded Your Way by Don Schlosser
Translated by So Heng

And again I thought, "Wow, how nice! It matches quite nicely with 炼我愈精1990 !!"

I was just pondering about our obsession with psychology in the present age - the complex analyses and studies of our being, our emotions and more - I really wonder: how much of ourselves can we really know? Who knows you best? Yourself?

David gave a definitive answer and a very moving account of his relationship with his Creator in Psalms 139:

1 O LORD, you have searched me
__and you know me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise;
__you perceive my thoughts from afar.
3 You discern my going out and my lying down;
__you are familiar with all my ways.
4 Before a word is on my tongue
__you know it completely, O LORD.

13 For you created my inmost being;
__you knit me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
__your works are wonderful,
__I know that full well.

23 Search me, O God, and know my heart;
__test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 See if there is any offensive way in me,
__and lead me in the way everlasting.
God knew David through and through - his movements, his thoughts, his habits, even his pre-uttered speech - by virtue of being David’s loving, wonderful Creator. He knows you best. He knows things about you that you might not even know yourself.

While some people might find this stalker-like phenomenon frightful, I find great comfort in it, especially in times of trials and sufferings. Because I know He’s in control, He loves me, He knows me - He tailor-makes life’s lessons for me!
