the truth hurts

you are not professionals
you are all just good amateurs.

indeed the truth hurts, for awhile i was having really high expectations about myself, and the choir.
but then again, setting an unreachable bar would just be purely insane and mindless.

"try to act like a professional, and you'll fail miserably"

actually, as i stepped back, i found that i didnt even deserve to be a good amateur, standing alone, im just
a kid.

thank you God, i sure loved to be called good amateur!

well. the performance is just in a few hour's time
and like i said, the truth hurts.
really, last night's full dress wasn't quite a full dress.
we stopped here and there, we had hiccups and interferances etc.

but isnt it encouraging to know that we can actually do so much better?!
come on guys, its now or never.
time to show our stuff and spread the life, love, light and warmth

Lord, the clouds are now laden with moisture.
no doubt there'll be rain.
but i pray that you aid the heavens in holding its bowels
that all the audience may be safe in the shelter before the rain finally pours.
i also pray that the rain may be of a blessing, not soiling, but setting the mood for the performance.
finally, if the performers had been holding back in any way, i pray that they'll be able to experience the true joy in You, and that they will find absolutely NO shame in sharing it.
Lord let all these point to you.
in Jesus's name.
amen.

ahhh. i just thank God for how amazing people keep sprouting out from nowhere yesterday.
now we've got a professional stage manager and a person in-charge of lighting.
both which we did not have previously, nor dreamed to have.

today is the day.
Lord please help us while we do this for your name.

this is the day
that the Lord has made...
there'll be a plan surely
